Black Friday Social Media Campaign Ideas

Holiday season is coming up fast and that means so is Black Friday. Black Friday has become the craziest shopping holiday of the year. In 2021 almost $155 million people shopped during Black Friday and it is estimated that this year Americans will spend over $61 billion dollars during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend. For most companies Black Friday is the highest revenue day of the year. Even with this being said it is important for businesses to promote their company as well as their deals.

Black Friday may be the busiest day of the year but it is also the most competitive. Customers are offered countless options and deals so it is your job as a business to show customers why they should buy from you instead of your competitors. One way to convince customers to buy from you is to create strong social media campaigns that draw customers in and get them excited for Black Friday and the deals you are offering. In this blog we will talk about a few social media campaigns you can use to advertise your black Friday deals.

Shoppers often take advantage of Black Friday to get deals on presents for upcoming holidays like Christmas or Hanukkah. If you are anything like me you never know what to get for presents or where to get presents from. This is where the idea for this social media campaign comes in. A Black Friday campaign that gives customers gift ideas will help sway them to purchase from your store. By giving them the gift ideas and where to get them it makes the choice of purchasing items from you much easier and more convincing.

Another social campaign you can use to your advantage would be countdowns or advertising limited sales. Everyone loves sales and that is what Black Friday is all about but sometimes that isn’t enough to convince customers to buy. Telling your customers that items are limited or that there’s only 5 hours left before a sale closes may create a sense of urgency in customers and convince them to buy when they were on the fence before.

You could also take the opposite approach and promote extended Black Friday sales as well. Black Friday is one day, not everyone may be able to take time to get into stores and wait in those long lines. Lots of businesses have begun to extend their Black Friday sales throughout the whole weekend and cyber Monday. This gives customers a chance to make purchases they are wanting without having to rush and buy everything in one day.

It is never too early to start planning your next campaign. When it comes to social campaigns you want to make sure you don’t rush. Having a detailed and organized campaign will place you above your competitors who maybe didn’t prepare as well in advance as you did. You can also always tweak your campaign once you are finished. With that being said Black Friday is coming up and we encourage you to try out these social media campaigns.
